The worlds most liveable community presents ...

Imagine if tourists came off the 'Great Ocean Road' and headed to Port Fairy, what then ?. Perhaps if we had 'Sculpture Road' happening they might go and check it out.
What would this do for our local business, farm stays, start-ups and enjoyment of our town ?
How? If, we place a huge number of sculptures along the 'safe' areas, all along the roadways so as to form a 'path' of sculptures, aka 'Sculpture Road'. Also navigating tourists towards places to visit.
Perhaps with a 'downloadable' sculpture map, showing places to stay, people offering crafts like potters, black-smiths, wheelwrights, artists, indigenous community meets, recording studios, windfarms, museums, and so much more. ...

If we took a collaborative approach to placing sculptures and artworks I would be pretty Shure others would also add to it. This could be schools, indigenous, community groups, disability's, artists, landowners, farmers, businesses, and local individuals.

Well, Towns, community's and individuals should all express their interest in this. If they are willing to do the 'yakka' to include designing, submitting the ideas plus building the creations, then ... 'let the fun begin'.
What community would not want to be part of this!
The 'Sculpture Road' could also be a number of roadways, it just depends on the passion of your area to do it.

Australia has an international reputation of having a 'rural 'out-back' easy going lifestyle'. Many arrive in Melbourne, and head for the Great Ocean Road' then, (please forgive me) don't necessary want to return to a city, but are 'past waiting' for that genuine 'Dinky-di' great Ausse experience. So why don't we provide it.
Right now, the lovely people of Macarthur seem 'strong' on the idea, so with that said, we might start from Macarthur and reach out along the Port Fairy highway, or where ever else you feel that there needs to be 'art'.
People from towns and city's have never seen a real Aussie sunset, yet here we are with North Moyne offering a stunning opportunity for camping and farm stays.

Let's build on what we already have but this time add much more to it. Small details matter, IE: Have signs that show people a QR Code with updated information of the local farm stays where they CAN camp.

The people in this town are amazing, everyone I've met is friendly, welcoming and up for a chat. I had to grab a bit to eat so tried the local 'General Store' and guess what ...
The pies in this store are amazing! ... Give it a go.

We will need many hands to create this 'art installation' so please don't just sit back but join in and get to meet a fresh stack of locals.
Remember to be safe, and don't do anything 'naughty' ;)
